Box Score The Neosho County men's basketball team improved to 12-1 on the season with a 114-103 win at Dodge City Friday night.
Neosho led the Conquistadors 54-51 at the break after shooting a blistering 56% from the field and 5 of 7 from beyond the three point line.
The second half would see Neosho County cool off from the floor but Dodge City sent the Panthers to the foul line 38 times. It was at the line the Neosho put the game away, converting on 33 of their 38 second half free throw attempts. For the game the Panthers set new season highs for free throw attempts (62), made free throws (52), and free throw percentage (83.9).
Charles Cooper led six Panthers in double figures, finishing with 21 points including 11-16 from the line.
Joseph Acuil scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double and third in the last four games.
The Panthers finish the first semester with a 12-1 record and are among the nation's leaders in numerous categories. Neosho currently ranks fourth nationally in points per game with 108.8. They also lead the nation in free throw attempts per game with 36.2 and are second in made free throws per game at 25.4. Despite being 42

th in made three pointers and are 4
th nationally in three point percentage.
A number of Panthers rank in the top 25 in different categories nationally.

BJ Jenkins' 88.3 percent from the free throw line is 17

Brett Frantz is currently shooting 52.7 percent from beyond the three point line which is 23
