D’Avonte the “sharp shooter” from Wichita KS comes to the Panther program with very high expectations. Garland had a great senior year at Wichita SE high school and looks to make an immediate impact for the panthers and help them reach their goal of becoming Jayhawk East conference champs.
 
Coach Coombs looks for D’Avonte to help lead his Panther. “D is a tough nose hardworking young man with great leadership skills. Not to mention his ability to get it done on the floor.” Coach Coombs Said “D can really stroke the ball and plays tremendous defense and we look for great things from him.”
