Neosho County Community College came from two goals down to secure a 3–2 victory over Pratt in a hard-fought conference contest.
Neosho found themselves 2–0 down during the opening stages, with the visiting Beavers arriving in Chanute determined to cause an upset. The first half developed into an open contest, with both sides creating opportunities in a back-and-forth encounter.
Neosho managed to pull a goal back before halftime, shifting the momentum of the game and giving the Panthers an important platform heading into the break. The halftime interval provided an opportunity to regroup, reassess, and make the necessary adjustments for the second half.
The response after the break was composed and purposeful. Neosho struck twice in quick succession to complete the turnaround and take a 3–2 lead.
With the advantage secured, the Panthers continued to play with greater purpose on both sides of the ball, pushing for another goal while defending with increased discipline and determination to see out the victory.
The comeback demonstrated Neosho's ability to respond to adversity and find a way back into the contest after a difficult opening period.
