Indianapolis, IN - The Neosho County Community College Men's Soccer team opened their 2025 campaign in commanding fashion, picking up back-to-back victories against nationally recognized opponents at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana.
In their season opener, the Panthers faced off against #20 ranked Patrick & Henry CC and wasted no time making a statement. Neosho came out on the front foot and never looked back, securing a 7–1 victory. Goals poured in from across the squad as Luke Butcher, Zak El Hannach (2), Keane Hazeldine, Paul Eder, Lucas Comitre, and Cohen Izzard all found the back of the net. The Panthers' back line held firm throughout, with the lone concession coming late in the 87th minute.
The momentum carried into Sunday as Neosho squared off against St. Louis CC (Receiving Votes). Behind another organized performance, the Panthers earned a 3–0 win to close out the weekend. Callum Niven led the way with a clinical brace, while Keane Hazeldine added his second goal of the weekend to secure the clean sheet victory.
With a combined 10 goals scored and just one conceded across two games, the Panthers showcased both attacking depth and defensive discipline to open the season.
Neosho County now turns its attention to its home opener next Saturday in Chanute, Kansas, where they will take on Western Iowa Tech.
