Coffeyville, KS- The Panthers split on the road at Coffeyville, losing game 1, 8-4 and winning game 2, 13-9. In game 1, the Panthers fell behind 3-0 after 3 innings, but in the top of the 4th,
Jaron Brown hit a 3 RBI triple to tie the game up. Unfortunately, the tie didn't last very long as Coffeyville was able to score 5 runs in the bottom half of the 4th inning to make the score 8-3. The only other run in the game, was a solo home-run off the bat of
Chase Robertson. The offense had a total of 4 runs off of 8 hits. In game 2, the Panthers came out swinging, scoring 2 in the 1st and 5 in the 2nd to jump out to a 7-0 lead. By the end of it, the offense was able to score 13 runs off of 13 hits, while holding Coffeyville to 9 runs.
