Chanute, KS- The Panthers lose both games at home against Coffeyville. Game 1 ended 12-3 and game 2 ended 7-4. In game 1, the Panthers fell behind early and weren't able to keep pace with the Ravens offensively. Maverick Williamson was responsible for 2 of the 3 runs, with 1 of them coming from a solo home run, his 15th of the year. In game 2, the Panthers fell to a 2-0 deficit after the first inning but were able to score 1 in the bottom of the second, thanks to a Dallas Kueser sac fly. In the bottom of the 3rd inning, the offense was able to tac on 3 more runs, which included a solo shot from Larsen Koester, his 12th of the year, to take the lead 4-2 after 3 innings. Unfortunately, that was the last of the scoring for the Panthers. Some untimely errors defensively allowed Coffeyville to add 5 more runs in the late innings.
