Box Score Miami, OK – The Panthers travelled to Miami Oklahoma Wednesday night to face off with the Lady Norse of Northeastern Oklahoma State A&M. The Panthers would come away on top with a 3-1 victory over NEO. Neosho would start strong in set one having an early 9-1 lead. The Lady Norse would pull within four at 23-19, but the Panthers would pull out the win 25-19. Set two would take extra points to decide who was going to take the set. The Lady Norse came out on top in set two 26-24. The Panthers would take care of sets three and four with set scores of 25-20 and 25-16.
The Panthers offense was led by freshman outside
Iva Putnik with 12 kills followed by sophomore right side
Kennedy Krokroskia with 10 kills. On the defensive end freshman defensive specialists
Callie Palecki led with 20 digs followed by sophomore libero
Riley Kennedy with 19. Freshman middle
Adisyn Igo also tallied 5 total blocks on the night.
With this win the Panthers move to 13-6 overall and 3-3 in KJCCC play. They will once again take on The Lady Norse of NEO, Monday, October 3
rd on their home floor here in Chanute.
