During Wednesday nights game the Neosho Men's Soccer team coming off a two game winning streak were looking to continue their good form against University of Arkansas Rich Mountain. Neosho started off slowly and went down 1-0 midway through the first half on a poorly dealt set piece, Rich Mountain showed more hunger to head the ball in the box and got on the scoreboard first. With 10 minutes left in the first half Neosho was able to turn the score line around with a pair of scores from
Jack Kay, one was a brilliant solo goal where he took a few players on at the edge of the box before putting the ball past the keeper. Neosho controlled the game for the majority of the second half and were able to add a third to their tally, another by
Jack Kay completing his hat-trick on the night.
Neosho will now face a very tough 16th ranked Barton squad at home on Saturday, September 17
th at 3.00pm.
