Box Score Chanute, KS - Neosho hosted the conference playoff quarterfinal game against Garden City, with home advantage Neosho was looking to get through this fixture and head to the semi-final in Wichita. Neosho started the game very slowly with Garden having a few opportunities early on. The first half ended 0-0 with Garden City being the better of the two sides.

The Neosho men came out with a higher tempo in the second half and scored two quick goals in concession through Jack Kay. Garden City looked dead and buried before they were gifted a goal when the panthers failed to deal with a simple set piece from a wide free kick. Neosho dealt with what Garden through at them for the rest of the game and were able to seal the win when Jack Kay scored his third for the day with a lovely chip over the keepers head.

Neosho now heads to Wichita, KS on Thursday where they will either face Coffeyville or Cowley in the KJCCC playoff semi-finals.
