Box Score Kansas City, KS - Neosho faced KCK away from home and needed a victory after losing a tough battle against Coffeyville. Neosho started the game very lackluster and found themselves down 1-0 from a set piece.
Ryo Aihara equalized for Neosho and were given a helping hand from KCK after a bit of mix up at the back.
The scores were level at half time and Neosho had to come out in the second half with more tempo. Neosho went on to win the game comfortably in the end, Olly Bryne put Neosho into the lead with a nice finish on his right foot.
Jack Kay did well to put Olly through on goal, but initially
Gerardo Garcia played a lovely driven diagonal ball to Jack.
Matty Welding and
Sebastian Fernandez also added goals from set pieces to make the final score line 4-1, where the result ended up being a comfortable victory.
Next up Neosho will now host Garden City Community College on Saturday, October 15th, 2022, with a 2:30 pm kick off.
