Box Score Neosho County Men's Soccer plays JCCC in conference match up
How it happened;
The Panthers got their first conference win of the season with wins against JCCC in an 5-4 overtime performance.
Umberto Sfregola opened up the scoring for the Panthers with a left footed strike that hit the top left corner of net. JCCC then scored to make the game 1-1.
Leonardo Menzen then hit the back of the net to put the game back in the hands of the Panthers.
Leonardo Menzen then hit the back of the net again to put the Panthers three up at half time.
The Panthers continued to push through for another goal and in the 52nd minute
Leonardo Menzen scored his hatrick to make the score 4-1 to the panthers. The Panthers pushed through to continue their solid performance before
Andres Ruiz got his second yellow to give JCCC a penalty.
Matteo Serra came up strong to save the penalty to keep the score at 4-1. JCCC then pulled a goal back before Neosho got themselves a penalty that was missed by the Panthers Tom Francois. JCCC then put another one back and made the game 4-3. With two minutes left the game then came level with another goal from JCCC.
Overtime came and the Panthers pushed to get themselves the winning goal and
Jack Kay played a ball through and
Max Russell broke through and beat the goalkeeper to the ball to end the game with 2 minutes of the first half of overtime.
The Panthers now move to 3-2-3 on the season and face Cowley on Friday
