Brett Wiemers also got an inning on the mound tossing 1.0 innings out of the bullpen, striking out 2 Braves hitters. Offensively, the Panthers exploded for 25 runs on 25 hits.

Game 2:
The Panthers sent freshman pitcher
Brance Ware to the hill to start game #2 of the doubleheader. Ware logged 2.0 innings giving up 1 earned run, 2 hits, and struck out four. Colten Crockett tossed 3.0 innings out of the pen for the Panthers, giving up no runs, on 1 hit.
Nathan Hungate also tossed an inning, giving up 0 runs on a lone hit. The Panther offense stayed hot and scored 12 runs on 12 hits. The Panthers compiled 7 extra base hits,
