The Panthers traveled to Kansas City, MO this afternoon to square off with the Wolves of Metropolitan Community College. Neosho County got a great day to play on, a beautiful venue to play on (Urban Youth Sports Complex), and a great performance up and down their entire roster. The Panthers showed off their ability to swing it, as they put up 20 runs in 5 innings of play. Neosho would improve their record to 21-24 on the year with a 21-1 victory, in 5 innings.
Neosho County would get off to a hot start in the top of the first inning, as they would record 3 straight hits to start off the ballgame. On the day, the Panthers plated 20 runners, on 21 hits.
Daegan Brady,
Andrew Brautman, and
Khalil Thrasher all notched four hits in the win.
Luke Burk lasered a ball over left field in the 2nd inning to give him his third HR of the year.
Drew Miller also went deep in the third inning to record his 16th HR of the year. Pound for pound, Neosho's lineup flexed their muscles this afternoon against the Wolves of Metropolitan CC. Pitching wise,
Brady Pacha got the start for the Panthers. The right hander would pick up his 4th win of the season, tossing 5.0 innings, giving up 1 run, and 1 hit.
