The Neosho County baseball team finished off their four game series with the Wildcats of Baker University-JV this afternoon. The doubleheader produced two wins and a sweep of the four game series with Baker University. The Panthers took game one by a score of 7-0 and game two 13-3.The two wins improve the Panthers overall record to 19-21 on the year.Â
Game 1:
The Panthers sent freshman pitcher
Brady Pacha to the mound to start game one of the doubleheader. The Wichita native, threw very well, logging 6.0 innings, giving up 0 runs, scattering 6 hits, and picked up the win.
Nathan Hungate also tosses a scoreless inning to seal the shutout for the Panther pitching staff. Offensively, the Panthers managed to plate 7 runs on 9 hits.
Andrew Brautman and
Mason Lundgrin led the charge for the offense, as both notched three hits in the victory.Â
Game 2:
Neosho County sent
Will Eldridge to the hill to start game two of the doubleheader. The southpaw tossed 1.1 innings, gave up 3 runs, on 2 hits.
Tyler McQuinn got an appearance out of the bullpen and logged 2.2 innings pitches, 0 runs, gave up one hit, and picked up the win.
Andrew Hansen also threw up a zero in his one inning of work in relief. Offensively, the Panthers scored 13 runs on 13 hits. Neosho County hitters flexed their muscles, as they had 8 extra base hits in the contest.

Mack Clark, and
Deriq Doty all homered in this game.
Mason Lundgrin notched three more hits in this ball game, to give himself 6 hits for the doubleheader.Â
