Highland, KS – The Panthers fell to the Scotties of Highland Community College in three (24-26, 18-25, 24-26). The Panthers would come out strong with an 8-2 lead before the Scotties would call a timeout. Coming out of the timeout the Scotties would go on a 5-1 run to make it 9-7. Neosho would answer with an 11-8 lead. Highland would eventually tie it up at 12-12 and then take a two point lead. The rest of set one would be close back and forth affair. The set would be tied up at 24-24 before the Scotties were able to rally two points together to take set one. In set two, Neosho again would start out on top with a 10-7 lead. The Scotties would go on a 5-0 run to pull ahead 12-10. The Panthers would pull within one at 18-19 before the Scotties would go on a 6-0 run and take set two 25-18. Set three would again be close the whole set. The Scotties would start out on top and keep a lead and take a three point lead at 18-15. The Panthers were able to tie it up at 23-23 and then take the lead off a Scottie hitting error at 24-23. The Scotties tied it back up at 24-24 and would score the next two to end set three and take the match.

The Panthers now move to 13-8 overall and 12-7 in conference play. The next matchup for the Panthers will be at home against Allen County Community College for their last conference game of the season at 6:30 pm.
