Chanute, KS – The Panthers got the sweep over Allen County in their final conference game of the season. Neosho would take down the Red Devils in three with set scores of 25-18, 27-25, 25-17. The Panthers were in control of the match from set one. Neosho came out in set one and would take a lead early on and keep the lead throughout the set. A kill by middle
Samantha Johnson would seal set one for the Panthers 25-18. The start of set two would have Allen with a three point lead early on at 10-7. The Panthers would then tie it up and take their own three point lead at 17-14. The Red Devils would go on a 4-0 run to pull ahead at 18-17. The set would then get tied at 20-20, the Panthers would take a two point lead at 24-22 but Allen would rally together two points to tie it at 24-24. The Panthers would come away with set two with an ace by
Riley Kallevig to end it 27-25. Set three would be tied 8-8 before Allen was able to take a three point lead at 11-8. The Panthers would get the ball back and
Brooklyn Strobel would serve to take the Panthers on an 11 point run to take the lead 19-11. The Panthers would take set three with a kill by
Jolene Tidwell to end it at 25-17.

Jolene Tidwell with 10 kills. Defense for the Panthers was led by freshman libero
Brooklyn Strobel with 18 digs followed by freshman outside
Riley Kallevig with 16 digs.
The Panthers end their regular season with an overall record of 14-8 and 13-7 in conference. Neosho finished the season placing third in conference. The next match up for the Panthers will be at the Plains B District Tournament against the Tigers of Cowley College at Highland Community College at 1:00 pm.
