Neosho County managed to come away with three wins in one day against the Red Devils of Allen County Community College. The Panthers played a marathon of a day as they closed the book on games two, three, and four of the series. Neosho County came away victorious 14-13, 19-13, and 12-3 against their in conference rivals in Allen County.
Game 2:
The Panthers started
Chase Curtis on the hill for the bottom of the 8th inning in a game that lasted over 45 hours according to the official score book. This game was started on 3/5/2020 in Chanute, however, it was suspended due to low light. The Red Devils were leading 12-10 after seven complete innings. Curtis threw 1.2 innings and gave up and eventually picked up the win.
Cam Blazek originally started this game and threw six innings. Hunter Friedereich also threw an inning at Hudson Field in the top of the seventh inning. The Panther hitters did not take much time to rally back in this game.
Mason Lundgrin, and
Luke Burk both homered in the bottom of the eighth inning to tie the game 12-12. The Panthers would plate another two runs to take a 14-13 lead into the top of the ninth inning.
Nathan Hungate earned the save after throwing one pitch to record the final out of the game. This win brought the Panthers record to 9-4 on the year and 1-1 in conference play. The Panthers had 14 hits over the course of the nine inning game.

Taylor Parrett toed the mound for the series finale. He would not disappoint as he went 7.0 innings and gave up 3 earned runs. He struck out 6 Red Devils and did not issue a free pass. The offense was good yet again and scored 12 runs on 14 hits.

Jack Ebright threw the last two innings of this nine inning contest and gave up zero runs and struck out four opposing hitters. The Panthers put together a great performance offensively, defensively, and on the mound to beat Allen County 12-3. This 12-3 victory brings the Panthers overall record to 11-4 on the year and 3-1 in conference play.
