Neosho Softball got things moving in the second inning when freshmen Kirsten Birdwell hit a solo bomb that dented the scoreboard. Despite her hot bat the Panthers came up short, falling by five to Crowder College. Jenna Reed started the game for Panthers. She surrendered five runs on six hits over three and a third innings, striking out one. Ryleigh Chaffin took the loss for NCCC. She surrendered two runs on five hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking zero. Birdwell, Alyssa Rogers, and Cassidy Paulson all had one hit to lead Neosho.
