Neosho County baseball played host to Ottawa University's Junior Varsity team this afternoon in non-conference action. The Panthers put together a good performance in both games to take down the Braves. These two wins bring the Panther's overall record to 6-2 and extends the Panther's win streak to five games.

Sophomore starting pitcher Cameron Blazek took the mound for the Panthers in game two. He would also give the Panthers a quality start as he threw 5.0 innings, scattered six hits, and gave up two earned runs in route to his first win of the season. The Panther's offense was good yet again as they scored twelve runs on eleven hits.

Brett Wiemers logged his first collegiate inning on the mound by throwing a scoreless inning and striking out two Ottawa University Braves. The Panthers would end up run ruling Ottawa on a Walk-Off home run by
Brant Scrivner to score the twelfth run of the game sealing the victory 12-2 in six innings of play. This win brings the Panthers overall record to 6-2 on the year.
