Shannon Cordes a 6'3 sophomore comes to the Panthers after playing his freshman year at Hesston College.  At Hesston, Shannon averaged 5.8 points per game and helped lead the Larks to a 15-12 overall record. Cordes is originally from Lawrence Kansas where he attended Free State High School.
 
"Shannon is a very smart basketball player that can flat stroke the ball." Head Coach Jeremy Coombs said, "He's a great young man and I can't wait to see what the future brings for him."
 
While at Free State Shannon lead the Firebirds to a 15-7 overall record and 8-3 conference record. In his senior season the Firebirds also took 3rd in the state high school basketball tournament. Cordes also racked up several accolades in his senior season including...All State Honorable mention, All Conference Honorable mention, St Thomas Aquinas Invitational All-tournament team and 3-point contest champion.
 
Shannon is a Business Major and will graduate from Neosho this spring and will continue his playing career at the next level.
