Chanute, KS - The Panthers lost in their first home dual of the season to #1 ranked NEO A&M by a margin of 41 points. Neosho came out flat and the Norsemen took advantage of it immediately, winning the first 9 bouts in a row. The highlight of the night took place in the final bout, where heavyweight
Aaron Pringle picked up a fall against nationally ranked opponent Antonio Andrade.
Coach Nothern said, "We didn't wrestle to win tonight. Our guys definitely looked at the ranking next to their opponent's name and beat themselves mentally before the match started. Hopefully we can make this a learning experience, and the guys will gain some confidence from seeing their teammate (Pringle) pick up a big win."
The Panthers will be back in action Saturday, at the Turkey Invite, hosted by Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA.
