Both teams were trying to figure each other out in the first half of the game. Not many goal scoring opportunities were create by either team as the first half finished scoreless. Cowley started the second half very well and found the back of the net after 5 minutes of play. Their second goal came just 2 minutes later after a mistake made by the Panthers goalkeeper.
Neosho started to create most of their chances after going 2-0 down. The Panthers top goal scorer,
Leo Araujo had a good shot saved by the Cowley goalkeeper halfway through the second half. Their best chance came after a corner kick was delivered into the box but multiple attempts by
Aldair Umana and then
Matheus Alves were both kept out by the Cowley goalkeeper and defenders.
As Neosho continued to push numbers forward to try and find a goal, Cowley countered with an attack of their own in the last few minutes of the game. The score finished 3-0 to Cowley.
