The Neosho County Community College Panther volleyball team stepped out of conference play for a Saturday afternoon match against Ottawa University JV squad.
The Panthers won in straight sets 25-16, 25-18, 25-16.
Sophomore 
Jill Starling and freshman 
Riley McGinn paced Neosho County with 10 kills apiece. Starling also led the team with 16 assists, while freshman 
Haley Slade added 13.
Defensively, libero 
Taryn Strobel tallied 28 digs, while Starling and Slade added 15 and 10, respectively. McGinn had three blocks.
The Panthers (14-7 overall and 2-3 in the KJCCC) hosts Independence Community College (1-8 and 0-4) Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.
