The Panthers traveled to Ottawa yesterday to play Ottawa University in a double header. Neosho would win both games on the day with scorers of 6-3 and 11-7. The Panthers will host Allen County Community College tomorrow at Hudson field for the Autism Awareness game. The first game will start at 1:00PM and the second will follow at 3:00PM.,
Game one would start off slow with the Panthers not scoring in the first inning, and neither would Ottawa. In the second inning Neosho wold score one run on two hits, and the defense would hold Ottawa to a scoreless bottom half of the inning. In the bottom of the fourth Ottawa would pull ahead 2-1. The Panthers would tie it up in the sixth scoring one run on two hits. Ottawa would take back the lead in the bottom of the sixth on two hits and an error, making the score 3-2 going into the seventh. Neosho would score one run in the seventh to tie the game up, and take it into the bottom of the seventh. Ottawa would go scoreless in the seventh, taking the game into extra innings. The second game got off to a quicker start for the Panthers, scoring two runs in the first inning on three hits. Ottawa would be held scoreless in the bottom of the inning to make the score 2-0 going into the second inning. Neosho would score three more runs on three hits, making the score 5-0. Ottawa would score one run in the bottom of the second. Neosho would go on to score one run in the third, and five in the fourth to give them eleven runs in the game. Ottawa would score one run in the third, and five in the fifth to make the score 11-7.,
