The Panthers hosted Allen Community College today at Hudson Field for the Autism Awareness Game for a conference double header. Neosho would win both games with a score of 7-6 and 12-2 to sweep the double header. The Panthers will be on the road this Saturday to finish the conference series in Iola against the Red Devils.,
The first game would start off with Allen scoring first in the top of the first, getting one run in the inning. The Panther offense would respond with six runs of their own in the bottom of the first, to make the score 6-1 going into the second. Allen would score four runs in the fourth to put the pressure back on the Neosho offense again. The Panthers would answer in the third and make the score 7-5. The Red Devils would score one more run to it a one run ball game, and that where it would stay.
Nathan Whitcomb would come in to shut down the Allen offense to end the game.
Tyler Mitzel would pick up his first win of the season.,
Game two would start off the same way with Allen scoring first. The Red Devils would have two runs on the board in the second inning, putting the pressure on the Panther offense early in ,the game. Neosho would score one in the second, and one in the fourth to tie the game up at two going into the top of the fifth.
Trent Latta would shut down Allen's offense and give the Panthers a chance to score in the bottom of the fifth. Neosho would put up seven runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth to make the score 9-2. Neosho would tack on two more in the sixth, and one in the eighth to run rule the Red Devils in game two.
Trent Latta was excellent on the mound throwing a complete game and allowing two runs on just four hits, and picking up his fifth win of the season.

Jonah Bride went 5-8 on the day with three RBI's, and
Ryan Toliver was 6-8 with 4 RBI's.
