Panthers Lose Two At Johnson County

The Panthers would travel to Johnson County today for a double header against the Cavaliers. Game one would start off with the Panthers scoring one run in the first to take the lead 1-0. The Cavaliers would score one run also in the bottom of the first to ties the game up at one. The Panthers wold go scoreless until the third, where they would get three runs across to make the score 4-1 going into the bottom of the third. The Panthers would score three more runs in the fourth to make it a 7-1 ball game going into the bottom of the fourth. In the bottom of the fourth Johnson County put up five runs on seven hits to make the score 7-6. Neosho would be held scoreless for the remainder of the game as Johnson would score four more in the fifth and one in the sixth to beat the Panthers 11-7.

Game two would start with a scoreless first fro both teams. In the second the Panthers would score four runs to give them a 4-0 lead going into the bottom of the second inning. Johnson would would answer in the the third inning with two runs closing the Panther leas to two runs. Neosho wold tack on another run in the fourth to make it 5-2. Going into the sixth inning the Panthers would score again giving them a 6-2 lead heading to the bottom of the sixth. Johnson would answer with a run of their own and make the score 6-3. The Panthers would be held scoreless in until the ninth inning, but Johnson would score two in the sixth, and three in the eight to give them a 8-6 lead. The Panthers would get one run across in the ninth, but would lose the game 8-7.

The series will continue at Hudson Field this Saturday with a 1:00PM game time for the start.
