Box Score CHANTUE, Kan. – A well placed header off a set piece and an early second half goal would prove to be too much as Crowder College knocked off Neosho 2-nil. The Panthers got touches in the box late in the second half, but were unable to get shots from many of them as they dropped their second match of the year.
The game began relatively slow as both teams probed their opponent for a weakness in their play. Crowder brought a very physical style of play into the match and the undersized Panthers struggled to adjust early with multiple players leaving the field due to injury.

rd minute on a header off a set piece that was just past the reach of Neosho keeper
Ryan Davis. The goal allowed would be the first time the Panthers trailed in a match since the season opener on August 23.
The second half would start much faster, with Crowder County netting their second goal in the 48
th minute.
Through the eightieth minute, nerves would start to get the best of the Panthers, as they created several opportunities but could not capitalize.
The score would hold, ending the game with the Panthers on the bottom by a score of 2-nil. The loss snaps the Panthers 3 match win streak and drops them to 3-2-0 on the season. The next action for the Panthers will be September 13 when they play their first road match as well as open conference play at Pratt Community College.
