Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 COFFEYVILLE, Kan. – Tia Parker and Tiara Ewy combined to go 10-15 with four RBI and 7 runs scored as Neosho swept a double header at Coffeyville 7-1, and 5-4.

Neosho (13-16, 9-7 Region VI) jumped out to an early lead in game one of the double header. The Panthers plated a run in the first and tacked on 3 more in third inning off Coffeyville (12-19, 6-7 Region VI) starter ShyAnne Wells.

The Panthers would add two more runs in the fifth and another in the sixth en route to the 7-1 win. Parker and Ewy did most of the damage for the Panthers in game one. Parker came up a homerun short of the hitting for the cycle in the game as she finished 3-4 with a single, double, and triple to go with a stolen base, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scores. Ewy also drove in a pair of runs while going 2-3 at the plate and scoring a run.

Meaghan Thompson (5-2) picked up the win for the Panthers tossing 7.0 innings and scattering 5 hits. She allowed one run but it was unearned while walking 2 and striking out a career high 6 Raven batters.

Game two would be a much tighter contest. Neosho again scored in the top of the first inning, this time plating a pair of runs, but Coffeyville responded with a run of their own in the bottom half. The Panthers would add two more runs in the fifth but Coffeyville answered with 2 runs of their own in the sixth.

Neosho scored a much needed insurance run in the top of the seventh to take a 5-3 lead. Coffeyville once again would answer as they plated a run to make it a one run game. Lexie Heiniger got the final two outs for the Panthers to earn her first save and help Neosho earn a much needed sweep.

Hannah Murray (2-6) earned the win throwing 6.1 innings while allowing 5 hits and 4 runs. All four of Murray's runs were unearned. Murray and Heiniger combined to not allow a walk for only the second time this season and first since their season opener on February 8.

Ewy had another big game at the plate for the Panthers as she finished the game 3-4 with a pair of doubles and 2 runs scored. Katie Todd drove in three runs for the Panthers and 7 Panthers recorded a hit in the win.
