Box Score 2 Neosho finished up a four game series against Brown Mackie on Sunday, completing the series sweep with two more victories. The Panthers won the first game 11-0 and the second game 15-0.
Neosho scored every inning in the first game, putting up 2 in the first, 4 in the second, 1 in the third, and 4 in the fourth. Neosho racked up 9 hits on the contest, led by two hits a piece by catcher
Craig Johnson and 2nd baseman

Connor Goedert added 2 RBI's a piece in the offensive outburst. Neosho starter
Casey Quinlan got the win in the run rule shortened game, allowing 4 hits in 4 innings of work. Freshman
Brett Kendig tossed a scoreless 5th to end the game.
The second game again saw the Panthers score runs in every inning. Neosho scored 2 in the first, 2 in the second, 6 in the 3rd, and 5 in the fourth. The offense put up 14 hits, led by
Connor Goedert who had 3 hits and another RBI.
Andy Young added 2 hits and 3 RBI's for the Panthers, and sophomore
Dylan Christie and freshman
Brady Childs added 2 hits a piece.
Shane Hummel threw a 5 inning complete game shutout, only needing 60 pitches to shut down the Lions offense. Hummel bettered his record to 2-0 while only allowing 2 hits on the day.
Neosho begins conference play on Thursday against Independence Community College at Hudson Field in Chanute. First pitch is at 1:00 P.M. The first game is a 7 inning contest, with the second game being a 9 inning contest because of the new conference rules.
