High School: Played football and baseball at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas…Three time All-Conference selection…Was named an Rawlings/Under Armour Pre-Season All-American as a senior…Named to All-State team and County Player of the Year senior season.

Personal: Was also recruited by Dallas Baptist, Arkansas, and numerous other four year schoolsFavorite Baseball player is Brian Wilson, favorite athlete is Brett Favre. Enjoys golf, hunting, and playing poker. Superstitions include not talking about a no hitter or perfect game during the game.
