Box Score The Neosho County Panthers entered Monday's game having won each of their last nine matches. The Panthers made quick work of Friends University, knocking them off in straight sets 25-10, 25-19, 25-19.

Alexis Fulghum. The duo combined for 21 kills and 8 blocks in the win. Fulghum was the Panthers leader with 11 kills on 20 swings and added 3 blocks. Mejias tallied double digit kills for the 7
th time this season and added 5 blocks.

Whitney Gifford played great defense as she dug out 19 balls in the win.
The win improves the Panthers overall record to 16-5 which is their best start to a season in over 10 years. Their current 10 match win streak is the second longest in the last 10 years, and the longest since they won 16 in a row in 2006. The Panthers 3-1 record in district play trails NJCAA No. 1 Cowley by 1 game and NJCAA No. 4 Johnson County by 1.5 games.
The Panthers look to extend their win streak Wednesday (Sept. 25) when they travel to Highland Community College for a crucial district match. The Scotties are currently 8-8 on the year and 2-2 in District play.
