Box Score The men's soccer team traveled to Neosho, Missouri to take on Crowder College yesterday.
The Panthers came out on top 5-1.
Nelson Landaverde started the scoring off early in the game within minutes to give the Panthers the lead. The 1st half was back and forth and was 1-1 at half. The 2nd half was dominated by the Panthers with 4 goals scored.
Nelson Landaverde had 2 goals in the 2nd half to complete his second hat trick of the season.
Aaron Strunk and Griffen Locke scored the other 2 goals to finish the game out. Joel Sanchez,
Missael Maturino and Gustavo Peraza each had assists in the game.
"We came out and played well. I am happy about the 2nd half performance, but we need to put together better 1st halfs when we start conference play. Now we have to focus on Coffeyville for this Sunday. They are a very good team and leading the league right now," stated Coach Harrison.
The Panther are now 6-0 overall and will take to the road again this Sunday at Coffeyville. Kick off is set for 7:00 PM.
