The men's soccer team traveled to Kansas City, Missouri over the weekend to finish their non-conference portion of their schedule. They took on Maplewoods Friday and Wentworth on Saturday.Â
The Maplewoods game ended in a loss 2-1 and the Wentworth game was a victory 2-0.
Griffen Locke had the goal for the Panthers vs. Maplewoods and Gustavo Peraza had both goals in the victory over Wentworth.
"The Maplewoods game didn't go very well for us, but we responded well on Saturday with the win over Wentworth. We really challenged our guys before the game against Wentworth to play the right way and get back on the winning track. We must get focused for the last 3 1/2 weeks of our season," stated Coach Harrison.
The Panthers are now 8-4-1 overall on the season will begin a 4 game homestand this Friday October 11th when they host Pratt Community College at 7:00 PM.
