In game one, Hesston jumped out on top 1-0 in the first inning but after that,
Kyllie Sill and her defense only allowed 6 runners on base the rest of the game. Sill registered 6 strikeouts on the game, 5 hits and 1 walk. Neosho scored both of their runs in the 5
th inning with
Kaitlin Wilson reaching base on an error on the right fielder. She was moved to 3

Taylor Williams sacrifice bunt. With one out, Sill popped up to the centerfielder with a deep fly ball but it wasn't deep enough to get Wilson home.
Cortney Miller then reached on a fielder's choice, got to second with a stolen base and
Kiley Pedigo reached with a base on balls. With bases loaded,
Kaleena Castor hit a shot up the middle to score both Wilson and Miller. She had the only 2 RBI's of the game.
Mackensie Sanders would end the inning leaving Castor and Pedigo stranded. Hesston threatened in the seventh starting off the inning with a double to right center field but was held at second with
Brittany Cooper's diving save to keep runners at 1
st and 2
nd. Sill then loaded the bases with a walk and Neosho still had no outs. The next three batters would be retired, starting with a strikeout looking, a pop up to the catcher
Kassady Foister and then a ground ball to Pedigo to end the inning and the game.
Game two was just as exciting with Neosho starting pitcher Mary Ann Greer who only allowed 5 hits and no earned runs. The lone run scored in the 4
