The Lady Panther Softball team traveled up to Concordia to face Cloud County for two more conference games. For the first three innings, it was a pitcher's duel, going three up, three down. In the top of the fourth inning,
Kiley Pedigo would lead off the Panthers with a double to centerfield.
Kaleena Castor would get on base as well with an error. With runners at first and second,
Mackensie Sanders hit to the short stop that made a fielder's choice to get Pedigo out at third. With runners now at first and second,
Kassady Foister would fly out to right field and
Kaitlin Wilson would strike out to end the top of the fourth. The only three runs of the game that would be scored happened in the bottom of the fourth. The game would end with a score of 3-0.
Second game of the day was a different story for the Panthers. Although Cloud did jump out of top in the bottom of the first inning 2-0, Neosho scored 6 runs in the top of the second to go up 4 runs. Neosho would score two more runs in the top of the fourth and one more run in the fifth to make the score 9-2. Cloud would score one more time in the sixth inning to make the score 9-3 but would be held scoreless the rest of the game to make the final score 9-3 with Neosho getting a split on the day.
