Softball Takes Two From Ft. Scott

Starting pitcher for the Panthers, Kyllie Sill records a shutout against Ft. Scott on Tuesday to get game one win. Sill only allowed 6 runners on base, none which got past second base. The Panthers and their offense were steady the whole game scoring 1 run in the 2nd inning, 2 in the 3rd, 4 in the 4th inning and 1 in the 6th to end the game early in the 6th inning due to run rule. The Panthers registered 10 hits to score the 8 runs.

In game two, starting pitcher for the Panthers, Mary Ann Greer, recorded the win with a score of 3-2. Neosho registered 8 hits, including a homerun from Kaitlin Wilson to put the Panthers up 3-1. All 3 runs were scored by Neosho in the 3rd. Ft. Scott threatened in the top of the 7th inning, with their leadoff runner scoring the 2nd run for the Greyhounds but their hopes were shut down by Greer and her defense to end the game.

Panther Softball will play their final conference games against Hutchinson Thursday, the 19th at 2 & 4, which was rescheduled from the previous date on April 7th. This will be the Panthers Pink Strike Out Cancer game. Come out and support your Lady Pathers.
