Kyllie Sill pitched two complete games, winning the first 3-0 and losing the second 2-1. Game one was a pitcher's duel until the 6th inning when Neosho's Pedigo reached first on an error and Castor came up and hit a two run homer out over left field fence. Kaitlin Wilson scored the third run in the 7^th inning with a solo shot over center field fence. Sill registered 8 strikeouts, 3 hits and 1 walk for the first game. This is Sill's first shutout of the season.
The second game Allen jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the second inning. Neosho fought the entire game but just couldn't score any runs until the 7^th inning. Kaleena Castor reached on an error and Kassady Foister hit a double to push Castor around the bases. With Allen forcing a throwing error, Castor was able to score, leaving Foister on third. Even though the Panthers didn't give up, it wasn't even in the end, finishes the game with a 1 run loss.
The Lady Panthers are back at it again, Wednesday at 2&4 facing Ellsworth Community College at home. Come out and support the Neosho Softball.
