The men's soccer team lost to Cloud County 4-2 yesterday. Cloud County are the defending national champions and currently ranked #3 in the nation.
Cloud took a 2-0 lead into halftime, but the Panthers tied the score 2-2 late in the half. In the last ten minutes Cloud scored 2 more goals to take the lead 4-2.
NCCC goals were scored by Logan Vestring and
Matt Clinton.
"We played well in the 2nd half today. Thier 1st goal shouldn't have counted on a hand ball, but we fought through that bad call and battled a great team until the end," stated Coach Harrison.
The Panthers will return to action this Friday at 5:00 PM vs. Cowley. The match will be played at the Chanute Community Complex.
