Eliany Parra returns to Neosho County Community College as a former Panther and brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the program. A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Parra played at NCCC in 2014, finishing second on the team in statistical production. That season, she helped lead the Panthers to the sub-regional championship game against Butler, where she scored Neosho's lone goal in a 2–1 loss.
Parra continued her collegiate playing career at Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska, where she helped the Bruins capture the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Championship while posting a 12–5–1 record. As a senior defender in 2016, she earned Second-Team All-NSAA honors.
Following her collegiate career, Parra continued playing at the semi-professional level, serving as captain of Omaha Queens F.C. in the Major Indoor/Arena Soccer League from 2024–26. She has called Omaha home since 2016 and has built an extensive coaching background, working with multiple boys' and girls' age groups. Parra also served as the Director of Coaching at Youth Club Impact Football Academy for eight years. Since 2024, she has also been part of the Nebraska Olympic Development Program (ODP).
Most recently, Parra served as an assistant coach at the College of Saint Mary, an NAIA program competing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), from 2024–26. She holds a USSF C License and has two years of experience working toward and utilizing the certification. She is also a P1 Nutrition Coach.
Parra earned her bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Bellevue University.
Outside of soccer, Parra enjoys camping, traveling and spending time outdoors with her wife, McKenzie Hallstrom, and their two daughters, Gracelynn and Harleigh.
