Ben Smith enters his sixth year as the volunteer assistant baseball coach for the Panthers. However, Ben is no stranger to Neosho County Community College. Smith retired from NCCC in 2019, after a 34 year career. During his time at Neosho County he served as the Dean of Planning and Operations and also served as the Vice President for Operations.
Ben will be in charge of the oversight of maintenance/new projects that occur at Hudson Field. He will also be highly relied upon to oversee the academic success of student-athletes. On top of Ben's baseball duties, he is also the volunteer photographer for the college.
