Neosho continued its unbeaten start to the season with a 2–0 victory over Allen, delivering another strong all-around team performance.
The Panthers started confidently and took the lead in the 12th minute following a set-piece delivery. The ball fell to Keelan Coleman, who rifled his effort into the top corner to give Neosho a 1–0 advantage.
A flurry of chances followed at both ends, leaving the game poised to change at any moment despite Neosho controlling possession for long periods. The Panthers continued to move the ball well and search for a second but went into halftime with the one-goal advantage.
Neosho doubled the lead in the 61st minute following an excellent combination between Ivan Rocha and Riccardo Giovanelli. A sharp one-two opened up the Allen defense before Giovanelli finished the move to make it 2–0.
The game took another turn shortly afterwards when Neosho were reduced to ten men. Allen were then presented with an opportunity to cut the deficit from the penalty spot, but the penalty was missed to keep the Panthers' two-goal advantage intact.
Despite playing with ten men, Neosho continued to battle, remained disciplined defensively and controlled the pace of the game well through the closing stages to secure the clean sheet.
Another strong team performance sees Neosho take the 2–0 victory and continue its unbeaten start to the season.
