Panther Volleyball Battles Hard, Ends week on a High Note with Three Big Wins

Des Moines, IA - It was a week full of grit, growth, and great volleyball for the Neosho County Community College Panthers, who faced off against some of the top-ranked teams in the nation. Despite opening the week with tough 3-set losses to #3 Kansas City Kansas Community College and #9 Iowa Central, the Panthers showed resilience and determination that turned the tide heading into the weekend.

Neosho bounced back with a dominant 3-set sweep over East Central, resetting their momentum and showcasing the team's chemistry. That victory was just the beginning of a strong finish.

Next up was Hawkeye Community College, and the Panthers kept their energy high, grinding out a 4-set win in a hard-fought battle that highlighted their versatility on both offense and defense.

The real statement came in the final match of the week as Neosho went toe-to-toe with #13-ranked DMACC—on their home court. In a thrilling five-set showdown, the Panthers held their composure under pressure and delivered one of their biggest wins of the season.

From start to finish, the week proved that Neosho can compete with the best and isn't backing down from any challenge. The Panthers' ability to learn, adapt, and come back stronger is a testament to their team unity. With more matches ahead, Neosho is showing they're not just here to play—they're here to climb.
