CHANUTE, KS – Neosho County Community College Head Men's Basketball Coach Taylor Shaffer has announced the hiring of Gage Delimont as an assistant coach for the 2025–2026 season. 

Delimont joins the Panthers after two seasons as a graduate assistant at NCAA Division II Newman University, where he contributed to both the men's basketball and strength programs. Prior to that, he was a four-year member of the Chadron State College men's basketball team, graduating with honors in 2023 with a degree in exercise science. He is set to complete his master's in business leadership this summer. 

Delimont is well-acquainted with Coach Shaffer, having played under him during Shaffer's tenure as an assistant coach at Chadron State. "We are thrilled to have him joining our program," said Shaffer. "I've known Gage since his freshman year, and I've seen his tireless work ethic first-hand. He's grown into an excellent young coach, and his enthusiasm for mentoring student-athletes, along with his recruiting knowledge in Kansas, will be a valuable asset to our program." 

Delimont will officially begin his duties at Neosho County in August.
