Chanute, KS- The Panthers opened their conference schedule at home against Highland. In the doubleheader, the Panthers lost the first game 10-1, and won via the run rule in game two by the score of 11-1. In game one, Neosho fell behind early 2-0, before a
Chase Robertson RBI single to make it a one run contest. Unfortunately, that was the only run the offense was able to produce. In game two,
Baron Lynch earned his first win of the season after throwing 7 innings and only allowing 1 run. The Panther lineup, produced a lot more scoring 11 runs off of 12 hits.
Larsen Koester led the way with 2 hits, 4 RBI and a run scored with a the run scored and RBI coming from a grand slam in the bottom of the third inning to break a 1-1 tie game.
