Chanute, KS - The Neosho County men's basketball team lost a home conference game to Labette Community College 75-71 on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers led by as many as 23 points in the first half, but were unable to overcome a poor shooting second half in the game.
Sophomore guard
Damian Jones led the Panthers in scoring with 20 points. Freshman
Champ Powaukee had 15 points, and redshirt sophomore
Michael Doria and freshman
Adyn Prophete added 8 points, for Neosho County.
Adyn Prophete led the Panthers on the glass with 5 rebounds.
Damian Jones had 3 assists to lead Neosho County.
Neosho County is now 9-16 on the season and 2-9 in conference play. The Panther's resume play Wednesday night with a game at Fort Scott Community College at 7:30 PM.
