Chanute, KS- The Panthers swept the final two games of the Labette series with final scores of 5-1 and 12-9. In game one,
Cameron Robertson got the start on the mound and earned his 4th win of the season after throwing a complete 7 inning game, allowing only 1 hit and 1 run while striking out 6. The offense was led by
Cody Moore and
Brenden Fry, both hitting a home-run and combining for 3 RBI's and 3 runs. In game two, the Panthers fell behind early but rallied back late thanks to big games at the plate from
Brenden Fry, who hit two more home-runs,
Reed Haneberg,
Saben Seager and
Cody Moore.
Jaret Myers came out of the bullpen to secure his 5th victory of the year, with
Conor Wolf closing the final two innings of the game to earn his 8th save of the year.
