Coffeyville, KS- The Panthers won the first two games of the Coffeyville series, 5-1 and 4-2. In game 1, Chayse Gruber picked up his 5th win of the season, throwing a 7 inning, complete game, giving up just 1 run on 5 hits, paired with 6 strikeouts. The offense started hot early with 4 runs in the first inning, adding another in the 4th. In game 2, Jaret Myers picked up his 3rd win of the season after throwing 8 innings, only allowing 6 hits and 2 unearned runs, to go along with 5 strikeouts. Conor Wolf came into the game in the 9th inning and picked up his 5th save of the year. After 4 scoreless innings, the offense finally got on the board in the 5th with a 2 RBI single from Gilbert Rodriguez. Kam Koester added two more runs in the 9th with a two-run home-run.
