Chanute, KS - The Neosho County Men's basketball team beat Friends University at home Tuesday night 89-69 to improve their record to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers led at halftime 38-37, before outscoring Friends 51-32 in the 2
nd half. The Panther's led by as many as 27 (69-42) in the 2
nd half. Neosho County shot 58% from the field, and had 27 assists, in the game.
Neosho County was led in scoring by redshirt freshman
Aaron Doria with 25 points. Other Panther's scoring in double figures were redshirt freshman
Malachi Wesley with 14 points and freshman
Adyn Prophete with 11 points. Freshman
Champ Powaukee led the Panther's in rebounding with 11.

The Panther's resume play in a tournament at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend. Friday Neosho County will play Southeast Community College and on Saturday they will play Concordia University.
