Normal, IL - Neosho Men's Soccer earned a solid 3-1 victory on the road against Heartland Community College. The Panthers struck first in the 22nd minute when #7 Paul Eder opened the scoring with a well-placed finish. Eder doubled Neosho's lead just seven minutes later, netting his second goal of the match in the 29th minute to put the Panthers firmly in control at 2-0. The Panthers scored a goal from #14 Dylan Roberts in the 79th minute, but Heartland fought back and managed to pull one back early in the second half, cutting Neosho's lead to 3-1.
Neosho's victory takes them to 14-1-2 on the season as they continue their strong run of form. Their next match is Thursday, October 31st, at home for their first regional playoff match against Pratt at 5 P.M.
