Chanute, KS – The Panthers have another big week in week two and earn their way into the NJCAA D2 Volleyball Rankings. Neosho started off the week taking a five set thriller to Ottawa JV. Their next matchup would come as a conference game against the Blue Devils of Kansas City Kansas.  After dropping the first set the Panthers would take the match 3-1. Following this conference matchup the Panthers had a big tournament weekend. All opponents coming in the top 20 in NJCAA D2 polls. First matchup against #11 Iowa Central, the Panthers would take set one but Iowa Central would come back and take the match 3-1. Matchup two would come against #18 Bismarck, Neosho would sweep going 1-1 on day one. Day two first matchup was #13 Illinois Central, the Panthers would take the first two sets and then drop the next two to take it to five, the Panthers came out on top taking the match 3-2. Last matchup of the weekend would come against #15 Hawkeye, Neosho would fall 3-1 going 1-1 on day two. Overall for the week the Panthers would go 4-2 moving their record to 8-3 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. The work the ladies put in was enough to impress the raters to give them a top 20 spot at #19.
